The period of time beginning immediately prior to the events foretold by Daniel, Isaiah, and the Apostle John, and continuing on through the events John was shown in his Revelation.
The end times are generally believed to start with the birth pangs Jesus alluded to in Matthew 24:8, also known as the beginning of sorrows.
